I called Stevenson Hyundai on July 31st 2010 about a car. I gave her my information. The sales woman said that she will call me within an hour. On August 11th 2010, I went to the dealership and asked for the sales person that I spoke to, and she was not there, then I asked the finance person about my approval, they haven't ran my approval yet. I asked the sales woman they told me that I was approved!I sat there for 6 hours waiting for my car and approval! I was told that the car I picked the bank wouldn't pay for I picked another car and they said that the bank would not pay for that. So, the finance manager said to me, "that I have another car for you to look at" the sales woman took me to the car and at that time I was fed-up! The approval went through as I was told. I asked them are you sure! Because I know once you sign on the line it's final. On Aug 31 st, I sent the finance company a check from the online bill pay for my car payment, before the due date on Sept 10th. The next week I was laid off my job. And on the September 3rd I got a voice mail from the dealership quote " your auto loan was not approved, please call the dealership, thank you." I gave them 3,000 down for the car! And I have to look for work and go on job interviews and my VA appointments! I need a car. And there going to take it this week! That's not right!
