I was staying at Ramada Seatac and called the front desk (on Fri. night to reserve for Sat. 8pm)and asked if there was a rental car ofc. in the hotel. She told me no but she knew of a place that would give me a good deal.
The desk clerk had the rental agent contact me Sat. night and she took me to her ofc. in a strip mall near the hotel. The contract was drawn up rather quickly and I agreed to $69, 1day rental(I returned the car Sun. 4pm).
I wasn't really pleased with the scratched and dented 2006 toyota corolla they gave me, but because of the short notice I excepted.
When I returned the car(less than 24 hrs. later)their ofc. wasn't open so I called the number on the envelope of my rental agreement(I was told by the agent on Sat. that someone would come and get me). Turns out the number was to a cab com.
Now I was getting angry. Not only was the car crappy but I had to pay for my own way back the the hotel.
While waiting for the cab, by chance I saw the rental agent checking her mail at the near by mail box and started telling her, I shouldn't have to pay for the cab. She reluctantly took me back to the hotel.
When I got back to Tallahassee, Fl. and checked my bank about my trip expenses. There was a $270 charge from Everyone Rents A Car. I called to find out what happened and she told me that she didn't like me so she charged me 2 days rental and numerous processing fees and hung up on me.
After many call backs and being hung up on each time I called Ramada and told them. They said they're not connected with them. I put in a complain to Ramada's customer service and they said they couldn't help me.
I called King cty. police about the fraud and was told they couldn't do anything and told me to contact B. B.B. Each time I called, it automatically put me on hold and no one ever picked up.
I don't expect to ever get my money back, but please expose this person so no one else gets taken.
