I went to the bank today to take out $20.00 only to find my life had been frozen. A Firm that calls them selfs Wolpoff and Abramson had put a freeze on all my accounts, on a debt I had paid 3 years ago. I have sent them the letter from the other collection agency 4x before they froze my accounts that said this debt was paid, When I called them the day they did this they told me the letters I have sent them was not valid. That I would need a another letter from the agency that this date was paid. So I did just that and Fax it to them. When I called them to see they were going to take the freeze of my accounts, they told me this letter meant nothing, now they wanted the cancel check from 3 years ago.
Please help me my accounts are still frozen. Me and my Wife
are County Employees with 2 children.
