Real Estate Deceptive Practices.
I am writing about a dispute that I have with Whitney Educational Group, 1612 East Cape Coral Parkway, Cape Coral, Florida 33904.
During the 5th, 6th, and 7th of August 2005, my husband and I took a training seminar with this real estate group in Boston, Ma.
Thomas, a sales representative for the company, stated the Whitney Educational Group would be back in Boston, Ma.during the middle of September,2005, to provide: 2- 3 day live seminars on Lease Options and Foreclosures of Real Estate property. This never occurred. We wnated to take the courses in September,2005 because we both have full time jobs.
The second week of September, we got a list of classes being held on line, or in other cities not close to our home.
Lease Options was allegedly held in Boston during the first week of October.I found this out after the fact, when I called the comapny. When I asked in October,2005 when the the foreclosure classes would be held in Boston, The Inside Sales Representative stated that she had no idea
I have asked the company for my money back. I paid $7,990 for these 2 seminars. I did not get what I paid for.I sent my materials back to the company, and they were sent back to me with the words:'refused.'
Thisb is a misrepresentation. I would not have bought the classes, if I had known that they would not be presented live in Boston,Ma.
In addition a Mr. Craig Sullivan from the company called to ask us to use 5 credit cards to invest in property for a quick turnover. This is fraud.
We met this company at a Peter Low, motivational seminar with Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and General Tommy Franks. We never thought that these people would lead us to deceptive sales practices with the Whitney Educational group.
I am reporting this company for deceptive sales practices. i want all of my money back
