Lately I been down on my luck. Lost my job and on unemployment so I needed some help. I was viewing the food drive on the 17 news at noon. All the can good besides other fresh good too.
To make a long story short. I stood in line at the blessing corner to receive some food from the food bank. Got 2 pieces of cake, cans of spinish, same spinish I got last time I was there, and some frozen chicken. which I was very thankful for. The last time in October I got no meat what so ever. So where is it all at? The real food (donations). On TV I seen Quaker oats, Folgers coffee, jelly, peanut butter, Tuna, tons of namebran can good and it wasn't just spinish.
I really believe the poor people are getting rip off. The same ways the grocery stores do on the first of the month when. They raise the prices of food so thay can get all that food stamp money then lower the prices toward the middle of the month... Mainly the store that catter to the poor, like FoodCo. Food For Less, even Superwalmart.
