Wheel Deal is a scam. They will not honor their warranties. I purchased a car and he refused to give me copies of all contracts and insisted I pay in cash, would not accept money orders. Was loyal customer for years but he was friends with estranged husband. Went to pay and asked for receipt, he refused, asked for copies of paperwork, he refused. I refused to pay him. Wrote to Better Business Bureau and when they received letter from BBB, they repoed my car stating non-payment and no car insurance which I have always had and I have never missed a payment. Not trust worthy and should be put out of business. This is what was sent to the Better Business Bureau which within 5 days of receipt he had my car repossessed. " I have been purchasing cars with my estranged husband for 9 years from Wheel Deal. Roger Goldstein has become good friends with my husband. My husband and I separated in December and when Roger found out he immediately tried to make up non payment issues regarding my car and have my car reposessed. My estranged husband called and lied to him and said we were back together and he dropped the repo request and said we owed no sales tax or anything which is why he was stating he was repoing my car. Oddly I don't know where the $3,000 I gave him in September went towards. My husband and I are not together and now I will be facing the issue again of him trying to repo the car because he is my husband's friend. In September I handed him $3,000 to pay off one car and purchase another. He refused to give me a receipt or any copies of contracts. If I call to ask him for it he yells at me and calls me derogitory names that no woman should be called. He makes me pay in cash in person and will not ever give me a receipt. He takes the money quickly and then says he doesn't have time to write one. He will yell at me in front of his staff if I ask him for a receipt. He also will not tell me how much is owed on the car. I need a vehicle and I know once he finds out my husband and I are not together he will start the process of repossessing my car. I have not missed a payment but refuse to pay him this month (October) because he will not give me a receipt. I am scared and threatened by him and his actions. I want to know how much I have paid on this car and how much I owe. When I handed him the $3,000 in September he put the money in his pocket. I am afraid and threatened by this man and I have been a loyal customer for 9 years but again because he is friends with my estranged husband he wants to take the car back and give it to him. All loans have been in my name only." On repo notice he sent through certified mail he stated that I should have been careful what I did for all they've done for me so he basically threatened me in a round about way. Also stated I had no insurance which is a lie, I obviously have proof of insurance. I have also heard him degrade other woman by calling them names I cannot repeat. I can't take him to court because I believe my estranged husband has paperwork and he won't give it to me and I still can't get copies from Wheel Deal which I am sure have now been manipulated to make it look like I never paid.
