Automotive Unlimited Complaint

What Goes to Vegas, Stays in Vegas - Auto Repair

- 3900 Spring Mountain Road, Las Vegas NV
On June 15th, 2010, my car was taken to Automotive Unlimited because of a transmission failure. Peter Spenter who represented himself as the owner of the shop refused to work until he was paid in full in advance. He was given $1.750.00 in cash (I have a written receipt) Peter assured me that the car would be ready in two days. It has been over a month and the car remains in pieces. I am 65 years old and for a person to continue to lie to me is unbelievable. I have purchesed two round trip tickes to pick up the car when Peter assured me that it would be ready. Of course he was lying. I have filed a complaint with the DMV department of Business licensing but have not heard back from them. Can you please help me? I am on Social Security and cannot afford to buy another car
