I am a loyal shopper of Pathmark.
Recently they ran a special, where if you spend $150 by a certain time frame, you would get a free turkey.
I qualified for the Free Turkey and received a coupon at the bottom of my receipt when I hit the $150 in purchases. The expiration date states 12/31/2011.
Fast forward, Its 12/29 and yes I procrastinated but drove over to get the free turkey only to discover there was none left.
Then told there would be none more till the program was expired.
Then told I can get free subpar peice of ham (specified some shoulder cut etc etc.
Of course offered the remaining offers on the receipt which doesn't come close to a Free Frozen Turkey from Shady Brook Farms UP to 20lbs.
Oh yes what a Turkey of a Deal this was, and a great way for Pathmark to treat loyal customers.
