Last fall, a few weeks after giving a $2000 down payment, on a wedding reception booked for May 2011, the wedding and reception were called off. The down payment had been split between the parents of the groom and of the bride. The charge card used by the bride's parent's was refunded. The groom's parent's paid by check and that has not been refunded. Months ago, a representative of the Log Cabin had said a check would issued. Subsequent calls have been made to the Log Cabin over the months, but all we have gotten is excuses -when someone has bothered to take the call. The refund was to be made if the date and room were rebooked. This happened soon after the cancellation. Any assistance on obtaining the refunded would be appreciated.
