I am writing this for my daughter and son in law who were married last summer.
August 8, 2008 ( 8-9-08).
It was a beautiful outdoor wedding at the home of the father of the groom in Towson.
They paid in full for the DJ who never showed up. Many frantic phone calls to them went unanswered. When they were finally reached, they said they had no idea where the DJ was and they would "try" to find a replacement. After a couple of frantic, un-musical hours, the sister of the groom got in touch with someone she knew who was in a band and they arrived, late into the evening to provide the music.
I have sent this story in to many news stations in Baltimore and so far, not one person has answered back.
I feel that this story is particularly deserving of some kind of action because this is an amazing young couple who work so hard and are so much in love. A few months ago, the groom went into kidney failure and his wife (my daughter) is going to be donating her kidney to him some time in the beginning of October (the exact date has yet to be finalized).
We have made so many phone calls to the DJ company and they refuse to reimburse the money for this wedding that they practically ruined.
It has been over a year now, and I would so like to see them get their money back from this despicable company.
Can you help this young couple?
Thank you!
