We needed our website redone as soon as possible. I interviewed several companies, and chose Yerasoft because they said they would get it done in 4-6 weeks. They said since they would rush it, they needed to be paid in full. I paid them $2400, and sent material for them to get started. I called at 4 weeks to find out why no one had contacted me. I was told, "these things take time." I called at 6 weeks to remind them it was deadline, but no one contacted me yet. They said they were taking 6-8 weeks, and someone would call me. No one called. I called again the following week, and they said they were taking 8-10 weeks. I told them, we are a remodeling company, we can have extensive complex remodels and additions done in a couple weeks, how can a website take so long to provide proposed templates? I contacted them in a week to say no had called me. They said it was in production and almost done. I asked how it can be almost done when I had not talked to anyone, seen any proposals, approved anything, or provided any content? They said they would call me back. No one called me. I wrote the owner of the company who sent me the e-mail receipt of the charge to let him know that we were promised a website in 4-6 weeks, and it had been 12 weeks and we had heard nothing. I said it had to be done within 2 weeks for a direct mail campaign that we could not delay. He e-mailed back that someone would call. No one did. I notified the credit card company and disputed the charge. FINALLY someone from Yerasoft called, but it was to tell me that they purposefully do not put a completion date in the written contract so we would not be able to get a refund. Sure enough, they wrote the credit card company, claiming they had worked hours, and had copied from our old website and put it in a generic template. It did not even have our logo it was so generic and quickly thrown together. The credit card company charged us again. I did research on the internet and found many postings of people who also have encountered the same scam/rip-off. One guy shared when he told them he was going to report them to the BBB, they laughed at him. They are rated D+ on the BBB because of the number of complaints and unresolved disputes. Please help us get our money back. We hired another company who had our website done in 4 weeks.
