Monarch water utilities Complaint

We were recently notified by our water provider that the monthly fees would be going from $100/month to over $250/month. There are no alternative services, so there is no way to not pay this fee. This company has a monopoly of the service and should not be allowed.

I have a house on the waterfront at Cedar Creek Lake and cannot even water the yard because of the cost. There are many months that no water or sewer is used and we are still charged greater than $100 per month, soon to be over $250.00 How can this happen?

There are many homes that are owned by people on fixed income. Water is a necessity for life. What can we do?

Do we go to bottled water and a port-a-potty?????
