HALIFAX COUNTY Complaint

We the people of HALIFAX COUNTY received a letter in December 2010 telling us if we paid $300.00 now to connect to the water from the city we wouldn't have to the $600 that would be charged if we waited until Feb 5th 2011.So we didn't pay any. We are still using well water. The other people that paid the $300 still had to buy pipes and pay someone to come and place them underground that ran from the highway to our homes. That is a crying shame the way the state has done people. The water is muddy and don't taste good. People we know are buying water from the grocery store. Can't even drink the water. what can be done about that.
