Hi I wanted to get the word out about a home based business opportunity that I was selected for by Monster.com. I am a full time college student working to earn my Masters Degree I have applied for numerous positions with Monster.com and have heard that there are legitimate secret shopper businesses. I was selected by a company called Marketplace Force adn they actually have a real web-site where you fill out a three page application and it really did seem like it was a legitimate job. Three weeks ago I filled this applicaiton out and yesterday I opened my mail and had received a check which after checking with the acutal bank that is on the check thought the check was real yet was leary so I called the police and notified them. I did not sleep last night for fear of others in our area getting caught up by this scam also. They now had my work history as well as all my personal information and had sent me a check for $2550.50 that looked real but beware if you cash this check you are committing fraud and you can be arrested. I want to let others know about this scam and warn others to not sign up for this company. I believe in good information being put out so others can be made aware of the danger. I had to contact the credit bureau and now have a fraud warning on my credit as well as fear of them now having all my information. Please let others know about this type of job scam in todays economy jobs are hard to come by but others do not need to go through this. sincerely Teri Tidwell
