I bought a Renato Watch, Beast Diamond Alligator Strap Watch, purchase was made on 5-27-09.The watch comes with a 5 year warranty againts defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty also reads. This warranty does not cover 1.batteries. 2.damage to crystal, bracelet, strap, attachmentsand/or battery resulting from accident, misuse or abuse. lack of reasonable care or damage during shipment.3.repair services performed by an authorized repair service. No responsibility is assumed for any special, incidental or consequential damages. No other warranty, written or oral is authorized. Ive had the watch for 2 years and only wore it twice. The gold layer on the clasp is pealing off. I contacted Renato Inc, and I was told that the warranty would not cover, I read the warranty to them, and I was told they would not cover. I paid $1,000.00
