On Oct-03-2007 purchased two knew tires for front of car from Walmart auto dept. Consequently on 2-1-08 I had a blow out on new front tire. After changing tire on side of Rte 55 in glassboro in pouring rain to a spare donut. I proceeded to walmart were I purchased tire. They proceeded to tell me I didn't purchase roadside warranty. I said ok I just wanted them to plug hole I would pay for it. After waiting for two hours a service person came an told me I had ridden on tire after it was flat and he couldn't fix it. I stated the tire was brand new how could it not be fixable. I told him I rode from right lane to shoulder when it blew out. I asked to see a manager. Service manager came out and told Stated that If a new Goodyear tire can't be fixed after one blow out it must be defective and I should receive new tire under general warranty on receipt. He said he didn't have to replace. Then another assistant manager came out (dave) and stated I quote"Tire is not made to with stand puncture also warranty was void when I purchased Tires. He then threatened to have thrown out of the store. He proceeded into back romm made me stand out by register for another half hour. I guess he thought I would just leave I did not. I asked service manager foe his name and daves last name he said he didn't have to give his name. Finally another store manager came out (Terri) she proceeded to tell me the same line. I said I wouldn't leave until I had my tire fixed because I couldn't drive any farther on donut. Terri and Dave started laughing in my face and called the Lumberton police they came I was humiliated by the Police when they threw me ou of the store.
I had to drive 120 miles on donut back and forth to work. Which is very dangerous I told the managers this they could of cared less.
