Leased a xc90 suv with gps at the end of 2004. It was loaded and had 8 air bags. Wow, how safe is that? Well, this car has been in the shop almost more than in my driveway. ( I have all the records) didn't have it for one of the 18 snow storms of 2005. Last week i was driving on sunrise hwy in terrential rain and the windsheild wipers just stopped working. Real safe! Unfortunately for my husband and myself, my husband was just diagnosed with liver cancer and we are waiting on a donor. We travel in and out of the city every week to mt. Sinai hospital. I am panicked in this car. Most of the time he can't drive because of the chemo and i didn't even have the car last week with the gps when i so desperately needed it. Volvo in massapequa said that a lemon constitues 4 times in with the same problem. The electrical system has been looked at 3 times but they had the car for about 5 or 6 weeks diagnosing it. It has leaked, so they had it for 2 weeks trying to find out where gallons of water came from in the car. They discovered the sunroof leaked.
They offered me a new suv, longer lease, more money per month, and 4150.00 Down. Wow, what a bargain. This is insane. I just want a safe car for the 571.00 I pay a month. What is so hard about getting me a new lease on a car that i can count on, and not cost me a dime more?
