About two or more years ago we signed up with Verizon for a mobile family plan utilizing our original phone numbers. The company said that this would be possible, no problem. Then a few days afterwards we got a call saying that this was not possible because the phone numbers were outside the network from each other but this will be fixed soon and then the family plan would be back in play.
We called many, many times with no result to accomplish what was promised to us and at the same time paying two very expensive phone bills.
After two years of promise we then went to Cingular and utilizing our two existing phone numbers their service for a family plan was no problem and it works great.
Verizon now has sent us two bills for more that $300.00 per phone line saying that we did not hold up our end of the contract when in all reality it was Verizon that did not hold their agreement.
We were sent a letter asking us to fill it out from a collection company to dispute these bills. Come to find out this company was in all actuality Verizon. Of course the claim was denied, anther scam by a large company.
Please help us get this settled.
Thank you.
