Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a school teacher and entrusted the people at Valu Vision to help select a frame that is appropriate for me. After 10 days, I picked my eye glasses and within one hour, they fell apart on me. When I brought it back to Valu Vision the next day, they basically belittled me and said I was told the frames would be delicate. When in fact, it was never mentioned to me. The assistant manager then continued to try and get me out of the store by telling me the frame is just fine and she had fixed it. Before leaving, I tried to explain to her the glasses are tilted and was not straight on my face. She did not care at all. As soon as I got in my car the frames fell apart again. I had to drive home with my old pair of eye glasses.
I was told I will have to pay an additional $133.02 for another pair in additional they will keep the existing pair without giving me any credit for it. As a school teacher, that is quite a bit of money for me and I feel this particular optical really took advantage of me. I pray that someone can help me resolve this.
