After saving his money to purchase a truck my grandson went with his grandfather to buy his first vehicle. We bought a 2001 Dodge Dakota from this used car place for $6500. and he seemed to be the nicest man until we drove the truck off the lot. We put 70 miles on the truck and now it needs $1900 worth of work. When I called the dealer he said we bought the car AS IS but he also did not reveal the problems with the truck for ex rack and pinion steering replacement of ball joints gasket leak just to mention a few. He stated he had no time to talk to me and he would be back May 12 if I still had a problem to call him but he was sure there is nothing he can do for me. The truck is not safe to drive and we are so totally frustrated that there is no recourse for us except to expose this man and his business for what it really is. This has been a terrible experience for my grandson as he worked so hard after school to save most of the money and we gave him the balance since my daughter is a single mom raising two boys and working full time. Does anyone have any resolutions for this problem. Thank you so much
