USA Wholesale Scooters Complaint

Shoddy Scooter Distributer - Motor Scooters

- Fort Lauderdale. FL
I ordered 5 motor scooters from USA Wholesale Scooters
I wired them over $6,000.00 because I was moving quickly to get them in my store to sell before our summer/fall season was over. I made this clear to them. I wanted to move quickly on this and they assured me that they would. I had to borrow some of the money from a friend and drained my bank account. I am not a rich man but was sure this would be a great idea. But as soon as I got the scooters, I realized it was a very bad one.

Anyway my choice to buy them from USA Wholesale Scooters was a bad idea. The scooters came about 8:30 PM on a Friday night and the packaging was damaged and I saw some damage to the bikes as well. The titles were all wrong as well. I called USA Wholesale Scooters the first thing on Saturday morning and spoke to Jeniffer and she assured me that the problems would be taken care of. She told me to email photos of the damage. So I uncrated the scooters only to find that of the brand new motor scooters 2 of them were 2008, 2 were 2007 and 1 is a 2006. WOW! How do you sell a 2006 or 2007 motor vehicle as new? I made a list of all the problems with the scooters and sent photos of the damage by email. Here it is a month later and my season is almost over and I still have no titles or parts to repair them. I called USA Wholesale Scooters after talking to two young ladies 10 or 12 times.

I heard a man in the background telling them what to say, so I asked to speak to him. He thought it was some kind of a joke telling me he handles the problems. After giving him a list of about 18 different concerns just to be able to sell the scooters, I asked if someone would could read the list back to me and he told me it was Friday evening and they did not have the time and rudely hung the phone up. I did not get an answer on Saturday.

I called on Monday to check the list just to make sure everything was written down and they again hung up. This is not a reputable place to do business and I learned the hard way.

I totally believe this story. About 7 months ago my fiance purchased a automatic bike from USA Wholesale Scooters for about $3,000 and within not even a month of the purchase, the bike literally started to fall apart (yeah the muffler dropped off the bike while he was riding it). If anyone is reading this PLEASE think twice before buying anything from this place.

I purchased a 2006 Zongchen Storm 250 from USA Wholesale Scooters and included the bike's shop manual at no cost. I had a leaky fuel line, of substandard Chinese origin, which USA changed out, at no charge with American made hose. And that was after the warranty expired. I have had tune-ups done and have been treated fairly with labor correct DOWNWARD for actual time spent on the bike. USA has always answered my questions about the bike and I would, without hesitation buy another bike from them. I gues you can't please all of the people, all of the time. It all depends on how you conduct yourself. And you have to do it in person, not over the phone.

I went to USA Wholesale Scooters on 12-15-09 after talking to Jennifer, to examine a scooter I planned to buy. Although it was supposed to be a 2009 with one year warranty, it was a 2008 with 90 day warranty. I test drove the demo, and it would barely run. It was in poor condition. I test drove a different model, and then decided to skip dealing with this seller. I planned to buy 6 scooters for export. I had read this report before visiting this dealer, and it was most helpful. The dealership was quite shabby, and stuff in a disarray.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!! And don't believe anything Jennifer tells you.
We purchased a scooter in April 2010 that we'd been told was new - later learned that it was a 2007. Have had a myriad of problems - Mileage is double the distance traveled, fuel guage doesn't work, and a few other minor issues.
Tags expired 5 days ago. We started calling 10 days prior to expiration and were told that would be sent the next day, Overnight mail. 5 calls later and we are still given the same line, except that this time, it is regular mail, and they were just sent this past Friday.
Very poor business...if they'll repeatedly fabricate the mailing of tags, I wouldn't trust them again for any reason.
