US Bank Scamming Customers - Checking Account

I am a new customer to US Bank. I found out yesterday that the bank scams its customers to charge overdraft fees. I recently had 3 deposits put into my account. One direct deposit for 350.00 one ATM deposit for 250.00 and one counter for 500.00. Of course my direct deposit is available immediately but the other two were done on a weekend and were to post on Oct. 1st (which they did). With the two deposits I was given 100.00 for each deposit available immediately. I got on my account last night (Oct 2) to find four 32.00 overdraft charges with a positive balance. After hours of fighting with the call center about why they charged me because the account ledger never shows a negative amount they informed me that they charged me fees because of pending authorizations that have not yet posted to my account.

The issue with this is that they are charging fees on something that they haven't paid yet. Also they are charging the fees on charges that may or may not come through to my account. An example is that I had a 2.00 charge pending on the account for a tip at a bar but the actual charge, with the tip had already cleared my account. The 2.00 was held but will fall off because they already got their money. If a company overcharges you at their counter and voids the charge right there it will never actually hit your account and US Bank will still charge you a fee.

I did get my fees reversed but this is unfair and illegal. You can't charge money for funds you paid out if you haven't paid them out yet.
