On Oct. 27, 2007 I purchased a Pulaski Bakers Rack, $1469.00 using my Amex on www.oneclickfurniture.com. Free shipping and delivery in 6-8 weeks. Two days later they charged my account. Around Dec. I started calling Suzie Walker to find out about delivery, I was told it was backordered. I kept calling and emailing and I would get all different stories of why my shipment wasn't being delivered. In Feb. they said I would get my shipment in 5-7 days. Kept calling and was about to cancell the order,Suzie offered me a 75.00 credit upon delivery. Knowing full well I was never getting it. In March I was told again I would be getting delivery on the 22nd. I finally called Suzie for the hundredth time and she said they are waiting for the truck to get filled up and I would receive it April 25. I was angry and told her to cancell. She was fine with that. A little while later she emails me:"We have attempted to electronically refund your account for your cancelled order. However since we do not use the electronic terminal we once used to bill you, we were unsuccessful. Please contact the customer service number on the back of your card or your issuing bank (for debit cards) and initiate an inquiry. Once we receive the documentation we will answer it accordingly and your funds will be returned to you directly. Unfortunately at this time this is the only way your funds will be returned to you." I called Amex and they said it was passed the 60 day refund period, but will open a dispute. No guarantees I will get a refund. I went to the complaint boards and was astonished to see how many victims of Al Carter and Suzie Walker there are. They had the same exact story as me. I still call Suzie and leave messages for Al. They keep me on hold forever and then drop my call. Al never gets back to you at all. They just say hold on and drop you. New victims everyday are out of their merchandise and their money. Reading some of the complaints I found out that they go under so many different websites that look legitamate,Furniture sites as well as home improvement sites, no tax, no shipping charges. I have written to the Attorney General, IC3, Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Affairs, Fraud.org, AOL, Amex, Better Business Bureau, my local Police Dept (filed a report) and every complaint board I can find as well as 7 on your side and Dateline. I had spoken to a NY detective and FBG"s IP address goes back to Guitar City in the MIddle East. I have nothing better to do with my time right now than to pursue their demise legally and publically. They are the worst kind of preditor on the internet. I continue to get emails from new victims everyday. I feel bad for them and myself. FBG has made thousands of dollars off of these unsuspecting consumers. It seems other victims have also written to these agencies and nothing is being done. All I hear is that they get emails and phone calls everyday about internet fraud. Well what can we do about it? We need to get these crooks into handcuffs and behind bars. This is America, we can't let this happen to our people. Please help if you can.
