I put insurance on 3 metal trophies going to OK and the receiver was then shipping them on to Canada to a big awards show. They were damaged in the Atl shipping and the receiver called UPS. They couldn't come out immediately to see the damages so they shipped it back red label to me to fix. I called UPS and a supervisor said they would do an onsite inspection and to take pictures of the broken trophies and save the boxes. They sent a UPS man to pick up the trophies but he said they would keep them at least a week. I said there was going to be an onsite inspection. 3 wks later no inspection. I called and UPS and they said my original claim is null and void and the people in Oklahoma messed up by sending me the trophies back. What is the purpose of insurance on my part? Isn't this FRAUD?
