I hung a medicine cabinet above my toilet and unknowingly drilled a small hole into the drainline pipe that I in turn had to call a plumber to fix. I called Bohmann Plumbing and the plumber cut a 7" x 13" hole in the wall to access the pipe for which they charged me $249. and he plugged the 1/4" hole in the pipe with silicone at a whopping $98. charge. I don't mind paying plumbers, but when I was taken advantage of, I'm really ticked off! Now I'm worried that in time, this hole may leak again and I also have to get someone to fix the drywall. I called the owner of the company to ask him to reconsider these outrageous charges and he said that "He has to feed his family too!" I'm a widow, a senior citizen, on a fixed income and I think this guy needs to be exposed so he does't take advantage of anyone else. He has no morals!
