Unilever, P&G, etc Complaint

My question is why is the detail of some products are required to be listed on the label while others are not.

When I buy laundry and cleaning produtcs I have no idea how much active ingedients they have. As a comsumer it makes it hard to determine the best value. This lack of information also allows the companies to reformulate the product without customer awareness.
