I rented a 4x6 trailer from uhaul in round rock texas.
I am trying to move back to my young children in michigan.
While driving on I-55 I heard a noise and got on the off ramp at Blytheville, Arkansas. The little trailer was rocking back and forth and it was obvious there was a flat tire. We pulled over to the side and I then called up Uhaul roadside service. It was not a pleasant experience.
I had to spell my name 3 times and numbers of the trailer.
It was awful I had keep repeating myself. They asked me what was the number of my key! I had no idea what they were talking about. Then they asked me 'what is your natural'!! Then I realized that the person on the uhaul end of the service phone must mean what is the nature of your call! I told him the trailer has a flat!! He asked where is the flat!! Such stupid questions when we were sitting right on the off ramp!!
I told the man the flat is on your uhaul!!
He then asked me where on the uhaul and I told him the drivers side. Then he asked me to go and look at it and describe the flat to him.
I felt like he was calling me a liar!
It was nearly 100 degrees and very hot and muggy outside
with the sun blarring on me.
The service man after asking me my location said there will be someone there in 20 minutes.
We waited 20 min. then called up uhaul again and had to go through all of it all over again about who I was what is
the natuaral of my call!!
It took them 4 hours to finally get the flat tire fixed!
And now sitting in this motel at best western in Blytheville, Arkansas, I know that the other tire will blow out on the little uhaul because it is bald also!
I pray that I get to Michigan and to my children!
I don't recomment uhaul to anyone!
The service man who finally got here told me of his bad
experience with them too. He told me that today they gave him the wrong directions of where I was at with the flat tire.
Tonight I pray to get back home to michigan.
