TV advertisement Complaint

Awesome Auger - Auger

On Aug. 2007 I ordered this hardware which was advertised for $19.95 plus tax $1.00 and shipping and handling.

A week and a half ago I called because I did not receive it..Today I did get it and here is the problem!!!

P&H 56.85
Total shipment $77.80
Amount charged to my credit car is $77.80

This is totally unfounded.

The hidden shipping and handling cost are one big problem, but the on line site is some what confusing and easy to order more than one item. The final page in the oder process does identify what was ordered, but no way to confirm the order or contact anyone on line about correcting your order. I only notifies you that the order has been placed.

There is a phone number which I called and waited over 20 mintus to talk to someone and gave up.

i was also ripped off by this infomercial, the product total was 34.90 plus 102.75 shipping and handling total 137.65. how can this be justified or even be legal ? i am writing this complaint on every scam reporting site i can find. i doubt if there is any way to ever recoup my loss, but i will say this, i will never buy anything from a tv add again !
