I went to Allegiant airlines prior to Aug. 24th to purchase 2 tickects to go FROM Phoenix to Fargo, ND we came up with leaving PHX on Aug 24th 2010 to Fargo.
Return Aug. 29th to Phx. it was these dates I needed so I could be here for my granddaughters 5th birthday.
On Sunday the 21st I spoke with a friend that works at the airport and she asked when we were leaving, I told her the Tuesday the 24th, she said there were no flights leaving at 6:40 that day. Monday the 23rd I called and was told my itinerary was to leave Fargo the 24th not Phx. well that was impossible being I live here and was going to Fargo, To keep those dates they wanted 480.00 more than the 362.76 that I had paid for the 2 seats, I asked them to just switch it being they tickect it wrong and the seats were already ours, but I ended up paying anoth 260.00 and going to Fargo in Sept. 9-12 which not only made my stay shorter because the flying days changed.
The person I talked with who changed it for 260.00 said I had to pay the change fee and the price the ticket went up.
but also gave me customer relations to send a letter to and I did and now the have denied me the 260.00 refund or any compensation. I have spoken to friends that this happened to his mother coming from Fargo here and they did the same thing but did help her.
1. I would not have rented a car for the 24th if I was not going to Fargo.
2. The ticket agent read it back to us and the entered it wrong.
3. I did not even look at it because after she repated the
correct day I did not give it a thought.
I think I should be given the $260.00 back. Why would I go book a flight leaving Fargo when I`m in Mesa.
Appreciate if there is anything that you can do or if you have dealt with this before and it was a lost cause let me know.
Thank you,
Kathy Mickelson
