With all the banks foreclosing on BAD loans you would think banks wouldn’t even think about foreclosing on good loan.
My name is Mark Simon and I had my house built in April of 2000 and in eleven years I have never been late on a payment (NEVER ONCE). But the bank “Meramec Valley Bank” 199 Clarkson Rd, Ellisville, MO 63011 is threatening to foreclose unless I pay them $15,000 on a business deal that has nothing to do with my personal property.
The story:
I was a real estate investor for over 16 years. I bought and sold millions of dollars in real estate. I had 28 rental properties last year in my company name “Monopoly Enterprises Inc”. With the fall in real estate and some health problems I have, I was forced to sell all my properties. I had three houses on one loan with Meramec Valley Bank not including my personal home. My business went under and I had to sell MV Banks loan off for around $105,000, $11,000 below the $116,000 loan amount. Now my home loan ballooned (it’s on a 3 year balloon note).
MV Bank says their going to foreclose on my personal home unless I let them put the $15,000 difference on my personal property.
Remember, by business had nothing to do with my personal property.
They know my fanatical situation. They know I’m not working right now and can’t come up with $193,000.
The bottom line is, I let them put the $15,000 business loan on my personal loan or they foreclose and I live on the streets. I can’t afford to move and they know this.
The banks get billions of dollars in bailouts when they need help but when it comes time for the banks to help, they want to foreclose AND on a perfectly good loan.
I’m not sure this is legal but I’m looking for an attorney.
I thought this would be a great story on a trashy bank.
I know they lost $600,000 in a civil suit a few years back.
