On Thursday August 26th at approximately 1100 in the morning my father(Retired Military) and I(Active Duty Military) entered the business to get a quote to get my transmission fixed on my 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe. We spoke to Brandon behind the desk involving my car issues. He stated the price to fix it would be around the $3000 range. I then told the gentleman that we had just come from another transmission shop that quoted me under $1200 for services. He then thought for a second and dropped the price to $1550. I asked him how long it would take. He responded that if we paid cash that he would be able to get the parts ordered that day and it would be ready the next week around the 3rd or 4th of September. He was only going to give us this price if we paid cash. So my father went and took the money from his account and paid the gentleman later that day. I proceeded to call around the 3rd to see when I would be able to get my car. He stated they were having difficulties getting the parts. From then on I called about every week to get a status of when my vehicle would be ready and since then I have received nothing but excuses as to why its not completed. At the time of purchase the gentleman had asked if I wanted to be called for any updates concerning my vehicle. I had never received any phone calls concerning my vehicle and I have always been the one to call them inquiring about my vehicle. I did talk to a supervisor at one point that told me that the owner's son "overstepped" his boundaries when quoting me that price and time it would take for completion. The supervisor did tell me that I am getting it for a good price. To be honest it is not my problem that he quoted me that and also the time it would take to get done. The ONLY reason why my father and I chose this company was the simple fact that he said if we paid cash that it would be ready by the next week. Apparently that wasn't the case and I have been out my primary means of transportation for over a month. Being an Instructor at Lackland AFB and Camp bullis requires me to drive a lot. I have had to rely on friends and at one point get a rental car for a week in order to get to and from work. I called them on Saturday the 25th of September when again I was told it should be ready on the 29th of September. They were just waiting on one part to be delivered and installed. I then called a few days later and he tells me the individual working on my car had a medical appointment to take care of. So again I am not sure as to when my vehicle will be ready. The customer service of this company is lacking and the time that it has taken them to complete the service is totally unacceptable. I held up my end of the bargain. I wish they would have held up theirs. The 9th of October rolls around and still no car, updates on the vehicle or straight answers when I call about the vehicle. The "builder" of my transmission whose name is Tony always seems to be gone, not there, just stepped out or at an appointment when I call. I really believe this individual does not exist. My father has tried calling a few times from Arizona and he gets the same answers I do.
