I was driving on the beltway and got a flat. My spare tire was flat, so my husband picked me up, we took the bad tire to replace. When we returned, my car was stolen. The state police called me on the 23rd of October/2010 and said that Linhard's Towing in Cockeysville, Maryland has had my car since the 17th. It was a Saturday night and they were closed, so I waited until Monday morning. Kathy Linhard/owner said I had to pay $400.00 to get vehicle out with an additional $30.00 a day storage. I stated that I did not have that kind of money and even when I get paid on the following Friday my paycheck would not cover the cost with the additional $30.00 daily adding up! She could have cared less! It was suggested that I sign my title over and the could possibly "work out the fees!" I am a victim of theft by some low-life that stole my car, and now by a towing company that refuses to help a hardworking citizen of the community. I have been ripped off twice! The low lifes that stole my car just broke a window to see what was inside, they didn't do damgage to steering column, so with the window fixed and a new tire put on, Linhards has a perfectly good vehicle they would own! Is this some kind of scram??? What do people do, just loose their vehicles, then what, they can't go to work? If this is right, then there is something wrong with society!
