Tmobile Signal

Since the April Tornado in Alabama, I have been experiencing signal problems and called T mobile a few times to complain. Jan 18 I received a text message with an offer to contact Tmobile for a free signal booster .. I called and was transferred to technical support who stated that they recognized that in my area there was signal issues and it was not economically feasible to put a tower and were offering a booster which I was glad since I had a phone that I could not use in my own house 90% of the time. She then stated that in order to get the booster, I would have to renew the contract for 2 additional years. That is absolutely not acceptable that I have a phone that is not fully functional due to signal but in order to continue with the service and have good signal I have to sign up for 2 additional years. I do not feel I need to sign up for two additional years.. my contract ends in December and if I am to continue with service, I need the signal fixed or a booster without extended contract.
