I am tired of paying for garbage and recycling services not rendered due to excuses like, cars parked too close to my recycling container on day of pick up, or not picking up my garbage randomly because the can was not out exactly at 7 am when the truck might or might not show up. First off, I can't control street side parking in my area, nor can I sit around all day making sure no one parks by my recycling bin, nor am I able to legally block the road side, and I'm told the drivers do not get out of the truck, they only pick up the bins with the automated arm. I say get out of the truck if a car is blocking the can and move it to where it can be accessed, I am paying you after all, apparently even if you do not pick it up! As well showing up randomly throughout the day to pick up my garbage is fine, but when you decide to randomly show up extremely early and I run my can out, do not ignore me and drive past me. I do not put my can out at night due to neighborhood animals and weather conditions on my area. If my can is tipped or spilled your company makes no effort to pick it up, which last I checked is not my fault. Point is I'm tired of paying for services not rendered! I filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals office, who referred me to the Transpo. and Waste commission, who told me that my disposal company is Puyallup city contract and I would have to take it up with the city council or the city waste manager, and guess what??? they don't care about the individual! I have to pay no matter what, as there is no other waste service provider, and recycling is a required...im tired of this rip off scam to which I apparently have no choice! In this economy there is no room for stealing from the publics pockets, they do that enough with taxes! Thank you for hearing my complaint.
