They just don't get the picture! - Cable Service

I moved to a new address in March of 2007. Almost immediatelly all kinds of pay per view movies started to appear on my bill. None of which we ordered. After several calls, and promises of return calls, and a trip to the local office, the movies were credited in May 2007.

As of July 2007, the movies started up once again. I called right away trying to avoid what happened previously. I also noticed I was being charged for an extra box I did not have since my move. I was given a ticket number for both complaints and promised a call back within 48 hrs. The call never came. The movies remained and accumbulating.

I made several other calls from customer service to the corperate headquaters about the matter. More ticket numbers, promises of return calls, and supervisors that were never available and never called when promised. As a matter of fact, the only call I got was a recording advising me that if I didn't pay my bill, my service may be interrupted.

I made arrangements to pay the least amt due on 9/3/07. I did so as agreed, when they told me my min. amt. due was not as billed, but over five hundred dollars. I still made the promised payment as agreed. My service was off the next morning. I made several calls, again. It was not till I went to the local office that they turned the service on again, but made no promises of how long it would stay on with such a large amt. due.

Finally, after making another call to corp. office and City of Palmdale, Cable T.V. Administrator, a supervisor called me. That was 9/4/07. I began calling on this matter, 8/4/07. The movies were credited, once again, but now my account is restricted from ordering any movies. They still do not know what the problem is and they want to charge me the normal price without the ability to order movies.

In conclusion, Time Warner customer service is terrible and I am sure my bill is still not correct! I don't think it is right to pay for a service I do not have! I hate to think how many others have fallen victim to their false promises and their lack of service and desire to fix a problem instead of put a bandaide on it which in the end, costs me for something I am not getting! No one seems to want to question Time Warner because of their power, I hope someone will take the risk in order to generate some improvement in their service. After all, they charge enough for it!!! The fact of all programming-companies,whether, Time Warner,Dish, or Direct-tv they do not have the corporate morality to operate in an honest/professional manner. Thse companies need to be regulated by the corresponding states public-utilities commision. These mis-leading adds, and programming-scams would be shut down by heavy fines.We need more consumer-protection advocates in our law-makers!!!
