I know Ticket Brokers are basically scalpers, But the one I had an encounter with is down right disorganized and a thief. The discouraging thing is they buy up all the tickets for events with out any intention of going. Leaving the true fans paying top dollar for their tickets. I basically had enough when I used a broker to sell some seats for me. Megans Tickets in orange the ticket broker I used basically took $1300 out of my hand, and gave me the cold sholder when trying to collect my money for the tickets they sold. It has been 2 baseball seasons later, 40 or so emails, excuse after excuse. I had 4 seats to 3 different games 5 rows behind home plate at Anaheim stadium. These Tickets are face value $110 a piece. If you go to a broker though, they sell for about $200 to $350 a piece. I couldn't go to the games, so I gave them to Megan at Megans tickets in Orange, basically just want Face Value for them. I gave them to her to sell, and she has been in hiding since. I have countlees emails to her, and phone calls. But her main excuse is, well it will be a little while till I can look into it because My accountant is out of town.
