I bought a winter coat from Burlinton Coat Factory in Sept. 2009. In January 2010 the zipper broke. After trying to get the zipper repaired privately, I called the manufacturer, Free Country, located in NYC. They told me to return the jacket to them and they will either repair the zipper or if they cannot, they will replace it with a jacket from the current line or from the next season's line. I contacted them by telephone repeately over the next few months, talking to Raphie Moser. Ms. Moser assured me I will be getting my new jacket shortly. Months went by, and the winter came. Any time I called or emailed, Ms. Moser told me they were working on it and they are trying to locate a jacket for me, as they do not keep jackets in their offices, but at their warehouses. In January, after numerous emails to Ms. Moser, they sent me a spring jacket. I emailed Ms. Moser and told her although the jacket was lovely, it was not the winter coat I had returned to Free Country. Several emails later, Ms. Moser told me they would go back to the warehouses and look for the correct jacket, but I should keep the spring jacket as a gift from Free Country and they would still send out my winter jacket. It is now 13 months since my jacket has been returned to Free Country. Just yesterday, I got an email from Ms. Moser saying they will send out my new jacket with a tracking number as soon as I return the spring jacket. I told them I think under the circumstance, they should send out my winter jacket right away, as they have had the jacket longer than I have had it. I also explained that I did in fact wear the spring jacket and that Ms. Moser told me to keep the jacket. ( I have all copies of the emails) When I told Ms. Moser I would like the winter jacket sent out right away, her response was quite sarcastic. I feel like I am at the end of my rope with Ms. Moser and Free Country. Please can you help get me my winter jacket before the summer arrives.
