Quality Foods aka LTT Gourmet Foods and JLS Financial aka Jefferson Financial are scaming people out of thousands of dollars. Quality Foods sales you meat, a lifetime discounted on future meat and a freezer. Quality Foods even gives you a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Quality Foods then uses it's partner JLS Financial to finance the total amount of your meat, freezer and lifetime discount. Once the freezer and meat is delivered it is not what Quality Foods promised/presented at the time of contract. So you try to cancel within 3 days as stated in the contract. Quality Foods will then assure you that they will fix the problems or come pick up the stuff(cancel your contract). Then Quality Foods changes all their phone numbers and moves on to the next town. After comparing some of the contracts of myself and others, I noticed that the company's address for quality foods was a fake and differ between contract to contract. Then JLS Financial steps in and enforces the breached contract and pretends to not have any contact information for quality foods and sues you if you miss a payment. The scam is quality foods and JLS are in this together. In each town they use a different name (LTT Gourmet Foods, Gourmet Foods, Gourmet Quality Foods, Quality Foods) and the finance company is always JLS or Jefferson Financial. You can't sue JLS because they just financed you. You can't sue Quality Foods because they disappear. I've went to the police, (it's Civil) I've talk to lawyers (where is Quality Foods ????? you have to be able to serve them.) These people have to be stopped! My story.... We recently purchased meat, a freezer with a protection plan and 50% off meat discount from Quality Foods. The 50% off discount; the freezer with protection plan and meat was set up through Quality Foods to be financed with JLS Financial.
We tried to cancel our contract within the grace period. They never delivered all the meat as promised; and we have meat that is freezer burned. We have tried to contact Quality Foods on numerous occasions and were met with negative results on all attempts. We have called, left messages with no call back/response. We have contacted JLS Financial and all though able to speak with someone, unfortunately we were unable to resolve the matter.
We are currently making payments/ finance charges on the 50% off lifetime discount that we haven’t been able to use. We are paying for with finance charges meat that was on back order that we never received. We were guaranteed replacement of meat/food if dissatisfied. We have some meat that is freezer burned that we have not been able to get replaced. JLS keeps telling us we have to sue quality foods and they are not responsible for what was promised by quality foods. We have contacted the BBB who also got no response from either company.

We ordered basically the same package deal,and the freezer that was in the brochuer was a large chest freezer and even put on our order forms it called for a Large 14 cubic foot chest freezer.when it arrived the paperwork the fool handed me said 14 CF chest freezer,,,but what he took off the truck was a small 7 CF upright freezer.so I stopped him and told him thats not what I am supose to get and he tried to tell its right.I refused to accept delivery because it was wrong..he got very upset and told me we had no choice it was already off the truck...so as he was unpacking it,,I had my son go outfront and pull my 6 wheel stakebody truck right infront of his...I took the paper work from him and wrote REFUSED across the front,and told him to load it up or his truck would remain infront of my house until several angry friends arrived or the police came which ever got to him first..but either would cause him great pain and discomfort....
Posted by dkconsignments on 02/16/2010 The fool took back the paper work and loaded the freezer back on his truck and left...I called Gourmet Foods the same day and they said thats the only kind of freezers they had at the moment so I told them to cancel my order since they couldnt fullfill their contract....Then 30 days later Jefferson Financial calls wondering where their payment is!!!!
I told them I wasnt going to send any payments,they told me you aggreed to a contract! and we will sue if you fail to make the contracted payments,I told them that I had not recieved a freezer from Gourmet Foods,they told me when it should have been delivered,and I told them yes the man showed up but I refused delivery because he tried to give me a smaller freezer than what was on the delivery order...and since Gourmet Foods didnt bring me the right freezer that they were in breach of contract so I canceled it the same day...I told jefferson finacial you cant charge me for something I didnt receive and I will gladly go to court and let you explain the fraud that Gourmet Foods tried to commit...I never heard another peep from any of them after that..
Posted by zyebre on 04/16/2010 I am currently going through issues with JLS Financial for the very same reasons. I did not recieve a complete shipment from Quality Foods. I recieved about 1/3 of it and they said the rest would arrive in less than a week. 7 months later here I am...no shipment and being harrassed by JLS. I argued that while I will continue to pay for the refrigerator because at least that is in my possession I would not pay for the remaining balance on the food. Which at this point is only around $500. They already got over $1500 from me. Does anyone have any recommendations? Should I just say.."ok I'll see you in court?" Will that get them to back off of the food thing? I think Ive shown tremendous restraint and character by continuing to pay the refrigerator on what is clearly a fraud. What if they do send me to court? Truthfully...what are my chances of winning?
Posted by fightnbac on 04/29/2010 In reference to Quality Foods even if you sue them and win, you want get any of your money back because Quality Foods (the onwer Tony) will not pay,this I've been told by many who have won their case against Quality Foods. I would stop paying and take my chances in court.

Posted by colonk11 on 05/27/2010 I am in Georgia and dealing with the same garbage that all of you have written about. The company name is Service Foods and Jefferson Financial. I have just spent 2 yrs going back and forth with Service Foods and Jefferson Financial to correct my bill. 1st they billed me before I received my appliances with past due amount. Then after several calls to Jefferson, speaking with Arthur Goldman (being called a liar and a cheat) I decided I would no longer deal with Jefferson, so I called the Service Foods (who sold me the goods) to help. I have spent 50-60 emails and calls trying to get a corrected bill and I have yet rec'd one. Service Foods promised to take care of all my billing issues once I sent them a copy of my payments (which I did) and would give me a 10% discount off the balance. That was August 09. I have spent 2 yrs begging for a correct bill, took a day off of work and drove 60 miles to meet at the BBB. I just rec'd the decision and I got the short stick. They are requiring me to pay in full minus the 10%. SO, I am very interested in a CLASS ACTION SUIT. I am printing all of this out and sending it to the BBB here in Atlanta, in hopes of reversing their decision.Please contact me ASAP colonk11@bellsouth.net Thanks, Kim
