I am writing this letter in the hopes that a small fish like my self in a huge Tank of Whales circling will some how have a voice. My sister Lives on the Cape In Yarmouth Mass. She has found herself once again ion a position of impending doom. Due to the Practices of Bank Of America. Almost 3 years ago, due to the economy she lost he job. she started to work with Country wide for a Loan modification. They told her not to pay her mortgage payments while they were working on the loan. SO there was a period of 1 year while they were working on it that she didn't pay. They finally came to a Number My sister could afford to pay on her monthly mortgage. She has been doing so now "on time" for two years. NOW Back of America, has bought up the Loans from Countrywide, and they told her she has to start all over with an " in House Modification!. So she has given them everything they have asked for in the last month all over again. All the work she did with countrywide is In the trash! What kind of practice is this? They just told her that if she doesn't come up with 31,000.00 she'll be foreclosed on! This is horrible to say the least! she has worked so hard with CW to satisfy their needs. and Now BOA is just going to throw all that money out the window with out consideration and Take her home! I don't understand this at all. I don't live in Mass. any more But I see all the EMPTY house round us as well. Banks have too much power as we have all seen on the wall st. What are you and the rest of the People up there on the hill going to do about this? BOA is way too Huge to feel anything personal. They are way too greedy to help. Why doesn't it work to The advantage of people who pay and pay and just want to keep their homes! WHY? I don'[t get it. They loose money by evicting people from their homes! Houses sit vacant! for a year or more around here. as well as other states. they get vandalized and ruined. is that not more of a loss then working with the homeowner? How can her voice be heard!? Who goes to bat for her? A single mother, not on Welfare, not asking for a hand out, working 2 job's just to keep up. NOT FAIR. USA. Sincerely, Karen Helms
