This TV was purchased from a Sears Store about 4-5 years ago as a gift to my mother so that she could watch her World Cup Soccer Events of that current year. Sadly, it seems this TV will not reach the next World Cup Soccer Event. I am just a spec of the millions of Ex-Sony customers that have been sold a "NEW" TV with known defects. My TV is starting to experience the effects of the "Blue Blob" (no its not a special effect, its a very expensive optical block unit) and its spreading. I personally own 2 other expensive TV's and guess what they are "Sony." Customer service Offers to pay half of the repair, but the repair is being replaced with the same defective unit.. This is about as affective as applying a band aid to a 1 foot long, 3 inch deep, laceration. It's going to bleed out, in this case .. whats going to bleed out is the money I'm going to have to spend on infinite repairs that offer no guarantee.
