I was refered by an online pool store to hire this guy to install an inground swimming pool. He gave me an estimate that was in our budget. we told him to go ahead with the install. He showed up 1 day a week for the next 4 weeks. we paid him alittle each time he came. He claimed he had to pay his help. 1st mistake. He got the hole dug and the walls put in. the water lines run. he back filled the dirt. No cement around the bottom of walls. about 2 monthes have gone by. we are really mad at this time. he came back. put the cement around the pool. now he wanted the rest of the money. we told him no, the pool is not done. He flipped out on the wife and was not going to leave until she gave him all the money. she held her ground and would not give in. we found out some of our tool belts and tools were missing out of the garage. He took them. And he admited it. So now the pool is not finished. the floor is all dirt. The rain came, caved in the dirt. The walls sank. the concrete broke from the walls sinking. None of the pluming or wireing is done. I don't think it can be fixed. The wife is scared to let him back here. I don't want him back. All we wanted to do is swim in our pool. Most of the money for the pool is used up. I have no idea what to do with it now. He claimed it would take 2 weeks to install.3 months later, we have nothing more than a big hole. Some one needs to stop this guy from ripping people off. I don't think he knows how to tell the truth. He is very mean when he doesn't get his way. He rented all the equipment that he needed. which I thought was very strange. And he wanted us to pay for it. When he didn't get the rest of the money, he had his help keep calling our house saying we owe them money. He called our phones for about two weeks, and the messages were really bad. He was determined to get more money. I just wish I could get my money back and the pool I promised the family. Live and learn.
