I purchased 2007 Chrysler 300 (Vin # ) on September 12, 2009 from Sunrise Auto Land. Method of payment was $5000.00 on credit card & $7800.00 cheque. Before the finalization of the sale, I had discussion with the dealer (Irfran Siddique aka Sid) regarding any prior accidents or mechanical problems on the said vehicle; dealer (Sid) confirmed that vehicle has never been in any accidents & has no mechanical issues. Sale was then finalized. Then the following occurred:
• On Sept 16, 2009 took car to a friend at Firestone Complete Auto Care, after the appearance of the ABS & Traction control and Tire sensor light in the dash. The said vehicle was scanned unofficially resulting in the conclusion of possible transmission problem with the vehicle. Individual tried to review the issue with the tire sensor light in the dash; however was unsuccessful as the wheels had locks on them. I was then surprising informed that the vehicle has been in a severe accident.
• Immediately after I contacted Mr. Siddique (Sid) and informed him of the issues with the lights in the dash and the locks with the wheels. Mr. Siddique asked why I am I contacting him with the said issues as I had gotten a deal on the vehicle; I advised him that he never gave me a deal. I reminded him that he told me that the said vehicle has NEVER been in an accident & that the vehicle has a clean title, he then disconnected the call. Pull a car fax report and vehicle was in accidents which damage an entire side of which tremendous decrease the value.
• On Sept 17, 2009 I faxed a copy of a letter (enclosed) to his office, and then later mailed a follow up letter addressed to Sunrise Autoland Attn: Mr. Irfran Siddique complaining of the issues mentioned above and requested that he contacted me immediately to try and resolve the issues. I did not get a response.
• I made numerous attempts to contact Mr. Siddique (Sid) on his cell and business phone, where numerous messages were left and got no response.
• On Sept 19, 2009 I took the vehicle back to Mr. Siddique (Sid) at Sunrise Autoland and provided him with a copy of the diagnosis from Firestone Complete Auto Care, which basically informed him of the two known major problems: C123F- Steering Angle Sensor Comparative Performance and P0741 – Torque Converter Circuit Performance, as these were problems connected with the transmission. He refused to keep vehicle and have it checked out by a mechanic & started talking down to me.
• After numerous phone calls & letters, with no response from Mr. Siddique. On Nov 14, 2009 I took the vehicle back to Mr. Siddique (Sid) at Sunrise Autoland. He then requested another copy of the diagnosis from another Auto Care service provider (Chrysler Dealership) and once again refused to keep the vehicle to have it checked by a mechanic. He informed me that he will review and get back to me, indicating that it would be easier to have repairs done on the vehicle in the state that I reside as appose to NY.
• Diagnosis was obtained on Nov 18, 2009 and faxed to Sunrise Autoland - Attn: Irfran Siddique (Sid). I confirmed receipt of diagnosis from both the secretary & Mr. Siddique himself; who informed me that he will review and get back to me. I have contacted Mr. Siddique (Sid) on several occasions after that and to date I am still awaiting contact from Mr. Siddique (Sid).
• As of Nov 18, 2009, the said vehicle is still in the shop at Ball Hill Chrysler in Rhode Island. Please see attached letters and diagnostics provided to dealership.
As March 2010 dealership hasnt done anything to resolve issues with vehicle except asking me to take a loss of 3000.00 for them to take it back or address issues.
