I had Direct TV for awhile now and was always pleased with it, of course you will have the occasional loss of signal from storms and stuff but that was no big deal. When I came back from Afghanistan, me and my family had a new house, and Direct TV could not provide the same services they once did, which was also in the contract! But of course within the hundreds of pages of small print, they're not liable if they cannot provide service to me and I have to pay a cancellation fee which was outragous ($404.11)!! Also not only that, but they had the authorization to withdraw that money straight from my account without notification or authorization from me, so instead of being able to pay it when the next paycheck came in, which in my case due to military is every 2 weeks, they took it out immediately. Thank god I have a savings account to take money from so I could buy groceries for my family. Direct TV is completely unsympathetic, and does not empathize with its customers. The customer service was terrible and transferred me what felt like an eternity. I would not recommend Direct TV to anyone and they are a terrible business. People should stick to their local businesses where customers are actually valued.
