I am going to do my best to refrain from sounding like a rambling idiot, but I had to take a few days off before being able to write in a civilized manner. First of all I am just another John "Q" citizen that is trying to raise two children and do the best that I can do. It all started when my son was diagnosed with cancer when he was 3 years of age. The news devastated my wifes and my world as if we were caught up in a bad dream that we couldn't wake up from. Fortunately, we were blessed enough for me and my wife to spend almost 2 years at our son's side throughout the entire process. My wife and I told our son that no matter what the outcome, we were going to be by his side for everything that he had to go through, and he would never be alone in the process. For the next 2 years we were traveling from richmond to UVA and then back to VCU for the next year and ten months day in and day out going through chemo and radiation treatments. During this time my parents were taking care of the house and the bills while we focused on our sons health. All along these charges from ILD Teleservices and another outfit called Paymentone were adding charges totaling $29.90 a month for so-called services that, one I never asked for and two were never given by me access to my phone account. Finally one day about a month ago after returning from the final hyperbarric chamber treatments for my son, my father noticed these charges on my bill that seemed odd to say the least. I did some research and contacted the phone company and to my amazement found out that these were BOGUS charges for whatever services that I nor my wife ever requested. Now here it is that my wife was laid off from work because of my son's illness so being the sole income provider was pushing us to the limits between the astronomical medical bills not to mention all the other bills that had to be paid. We literally were living from penny to penny paycheck to paycheck, only to find out the whole time we were struggling to save our son and keep our heads above water these 2 fraudulent companies were costing me almost 30 dollars a month which I didn't have to waste. There is no way possible for me to express my true hatred towards these rip-off companies and I also hold my own phone company responsible for allowing them to even have access to my account in the first place. Until I draw my last breath I am going to do everything in my power to discredit these companies and try and either put them out of business or have criminal charges brought at them for taking advantage of blue collar hard working people especially when in our case were being ripped off while trying to save my sons life in the process. I doubt this letter wil do much but I want nothing more than to get as much exposure possible to show just what these types of companies are and what the are doing which to me is nothing more than holding a gun to our heads and say give me your money. I hope GOD has a special place in hell for people like them.
