Harvey Reese Associates/ Money4ideas.com are ripping people off. Harvey Reese advertises that he is an invent agent that sets out to market your invention/ invention idea to company for a licensing agreement. He offers for you to submit your invention/ invention ideas to his company, he claims that he has leds/contacts to present the idea to that we as non-agent don't have, and if product is good enough he will represent you by presenting your product to a company in exchange for money.
The word play that he uses pry on those of us that want to get our foot in the door. He assures you that where others say it can't be done he has the means and contacts that says you can.
There are no promises that he will get you a deal but encourages you to pay $189.00 to submit your product to him so he can get right to work.
The Scam:
Harvey Reese Do Not have the leds/ contacts that he says he has. In fact Harvey Reese Does nothing after receiving your product submission and money.
He do not share your product submission with no one other than himself. Harvey Reese puts no attempt or effort into obtaining any type of deal for anyone. He pockets the money and send out bogus letter and poor quailty printouts to the submitter that states he was unable to work with the submitted product. The information that he sends to you do not describe in detail a valid description of the product that you submitted to him, the letter that he sends is a general letter that seems to be very versitile and may even be a few pages out of one of his books it do not relate directly to your product, which really seems like a pre packed folder waiting to be addressed. Worthless
I am not upset because I did not get a licensing deal which this would seem like a way to get revenage but that is not the case here.
I just don't want to see anyone else get scammed by this 1 man company. In my researching Harvey Reese Associates I came to find out that the address that he displays on his website and business cards is Not Correct. He says his office is located 614 South 8th Street, PMB 305, Philadelphia, PA 19147, USA
When it is really located 616 10th st, Phiadelphia, PA 19147 The phone number he uses as both office and fax is a fax however he will not accept any communication via fax. When I asked him about this suspicous contact information for him. He asked why was it any concern to me what he uses on his website. (huh because you got my money duh)
I have emails back and forth between Harvey Reese and I that just flat out says he put not effort into getting a deal, which means he is taking money from people with out shame.
I am also reporting him because their could have been some really great submission from other that he may have tossed in the trash, that could have been great benefit to both the market and the inventor simply because Harvey Reese do not attempt to promote/share any of the submission
My invention submission was a mere idea, but very well needed. it is not in it's full state, my submission was merely an idea so I do not feel as if I lost out on too much but the principle of the whole thing is a lot of people are being taken by this Man.
Also in my own research it is found that Harvey Reese is a 1 man company that makes $110,000 a year from ripping honest people off.
After going back and forth emails with Harvey Reese he says I was upset "because he put no effort into getting me a licesing deal" And as I said to him he is right, He put no EFFORT in my submission at all. He made no attempt to do the job he advertises he will do for you. AND HE NEEDS NOT BE ALLOWED TO SCAM NO ONE ELSE!!
This man is wrong in so many ways and I want to put a STOP to his scams!
