Wells Fargo Bank Complaint

Stop Harrassing Me About Money I've Already Paid You

- Desmoines Iowa/Dallas, TX.
I had a credit card loan with Wells Fargo Bank with a balance of 2, 636.77 which I decided to pay off. On July 5, 2011 I mailed two money orders in the full amount by express mail requiring signature for proof of receipt using the United States Postal Service. They received my payment on July 6, 2011, my next monthly payment was due on the 7th of July. About a week later I received a call from Wells Fargo saying that my payment was late. I explained to them that I had paid the account in full, but they said they didn't receive it. I went to the USPS and got a copy of the signed receipt form with the name of the person that received it and a copy of the money orders and I faxed it to them. They told me they would have to investagate it. A few days later they call me and told me that it didn't count because I sent it to the Desmoines, Iowa office which is the address that is on my statements and it didn't come to the Dallas office which I have no address for. They didn't credit me for the payment and told me that I have to still pay the monthly bill plus late fee. I asked them to return my money and they said no. Since that time they have call 6 to 7 times a day 7 days a week. I have tried talking to other people there and I can't seem to get this resolved. Now they are threating to ruin my credit. Please help me!
