My 4 year old daughter really wanted a pair of perky pink puppy stompeez slippers for Christmas. In fact, this is what she asked for from Santa when she went to visit him. I ordered her a pair on December 4th. Their website state that orders after December 5th were not guaranteed delivery by Christmas, so I thought I would be safe! I called and spoke to someone 3 different times and each time was told that I was GUARANTEED delivery by Christmas. When I finally received a shipping notice on the 20th, I checked the tracking number and it said estimated delivery of the 29th.
My husband and I decided to break the news to our 4 year old before Christmas so she wouldn't be upset on Christmas morning (stompeez were all she talked about when anyone asked her what she wanted for Christmas). She cried and got very upset, but I told her that I had ordered some for her and she will hopefully (I did not promise this) get them by her birthday in January.
I am truly upset with this company for upsetting my daughter. They should be ashamed of themselves for giving parents false hope in making them believe they would receive these in time for Christmas. I've noticed that they are taking orders again when they haven't even shipped out the orders they have yet to complete.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. There is a boycott stompeez Facebook page where you will hear this same story many times.
Again, this company should be ashamed of themselves!
