My niece's 21st birthday included travel from SF, CA, to ATL, GA, March
30, 2011. Highlight was planned to be a 3 course meal "Dinner and Theatre" with the director of play by George Wolfe, The Colored Museum, directed by Jasmine Guy. Tickets sold and purchased from Ticket Alternative- ownert Ian. It was a buffet and Jasmine Guy fixed her own plate in the buffet line at the self service feeding station.
Tickets purchased online from TICKET ALTERNATIVE and recomfirmed via telephone call were not honored. 4 tickets total purchased.
At the door ticket holders were charged $50 more or rejected under pressure, embarrasssment and duress. Police were on the scene adding more intimidation and conformity. White staff were insulting to mainly Black audience.
Preferred seating in theatre promised was not provided.
Request for refund was met with insults.
Do not do business with Ticket Alternative or True Colors.
Resolution to return the extorted $50.
