TutorVista, Tutor Vista: They want to squeeze as much extra charges out of you, if you stop using their service. This seems to be a standard money-making strategy. A week's buy converting automatically into repeat monthly renewal is the trick that we experienced. My son bought a week's subscription, and we were both shocked to see the extra full-month charge on next card bill, and you can forget about getting refunds from them. You fool us once shame on you, you fool us twice shame on us. Part of the game is that, like in our case, the kid did the purchasing (with parent's permission) and young kids are not cognizant of fine-print internet games that some unscrupulous companies play.
