I was traveling home from a small town in New Mexico back to Dallas. I traveled with greyhound bus lines. I gave them my bag with identification tags. We changed busses in El Paso. I specifically showed the attendant my bag stating it would go to Dallas. When I arrived in Dallas my bag could not be located. People were allowed to pick up bags without showing any claim forms. I filed a claim for my bags in May. I had to resubmit my information. I could not find my claim stub. The policy is that no reimbursement could occur without the stub. However, anyone can pick up any bag at any of the stops (that we made)without a stub. No checked. This is against the policy. The policy only applies when a customer seeks relief! I can't be the only person this has happened to. It may not be much to them, but I had to replace medication and several clothing items as I don't own many clothes I am also without a suitcase as expensive as they are. I would like my things back. I am not seeking vast amounts of money. This shouldn't happen Most people travelling by bus can least afford to lose possessions.
I know it doesn't sound important but big companies seem to be able to apply policy when it benefits them. Oh well. Thank you
